As promised here’s the rest of Baby James’ photo shoot. This little fella was so gorgeous & good natured…..it made choosing the images for the blog post so difficult – I really wanted to include them all! In the process of trying to keep James’ attention we realised that he’s slightly infatuated with the muppets – well with the Mahna Mahna song in particular – so I will admit to having replayed this song a few (read lots!) of times. If you’d like a trip down memory lane, you can click on this link!
Sarah & Conor, we had such great fun at the shoot. Thanks for being so welcoming and for getting so into it – it really makes all the difference!

I’ll be putting up a full blog post next week of images from this beautiful little boy’s recent shoot, but I just couldn’t resist posting this image. The second myself & Mark saw it we instantly fell in love with it!

Meet Baby Leah – the happiest, smiliest 4 week old we’ve ever photographed! People say that babies don’t really start smiling until they’re about 6-8 weeks old, but Leah wasn’t just smiling, her whole face was lighting up. I think this little girl may very well have a future career in front of the camera…..she was so aware and alert and seemed to be really enjoying having her photograph taken.

Meet Baby Jack …. a wonderful nine month old little boy we met recently. He was so full of life & smiles & so excited to show off his newly acquired crawling skills! I love the images of him smiling but I must admit that I’m drawn to the more serious ones …. his face full of wonder & his beautiful big inquisitive eyes … the whole world out there for him to explore.

Our Facebook Competition Winners!!
Some time ago we ran a baby photography competition via our Facebook page. We had a fantastic response and the lucky winners were Michelle & Johnathan. At the time they just had one little girl Penny but in the meantime beautiful (& very chilled!) baby Sarah has made an appearance.
Penny is a live wire and brilliant fun….there was a lot of running around after her and Mark spent a lot of time making things appear from behind my head to keep her attention while I tried to catch her in that split second of stillness!! It seems to have worked though & we’re really happy with the shots of her. She was particularly fond of her brand new pink shoes which she was very happy to show off to the camera! Sarah on the other hand was one of the most chilled-out babies ever! She was happy to lie there and pose, snooze & be cuddled, in amongst all the kerfuffle she was an oasis of calm…

This little 5 month old was an absolute sweetheart. He had the most amazing blue eyes and was such a happy little camper! We spent a fun couple of hours with Oisin & his mom & dad, hanging out & playing on their big bed. The natural light streaming through the upstairs windows was perfect!

I’ve been dying to post this baby shoot that we did the weekend before last! Mia made our lives so easy, she was completely comfortable with having us around even though she was just literally waking up as we arrived. She took it all in her stride & wasn’t the slightest bit bothered by the cameras. Thanks Helen & Tom for inviting us into your beautiful home, we hope you’re as happy with these images as we are. Also, thanks for the wonderful coffee! They had the cutest pair of little dogs, you can see them in the last image. I think they were a little miffed that Mia was the centre of attention!

Hello & welcome
Hello and welcome to a collection of the thoughts, musings, interests and aspirations of Aine Teahan and Mark Byrne – aka the Allegria Blog.
We’re aiming to go against the grain (and the overwhelming body of expert advice) to find a narrow niche for your blog and stick to it. We’re interested in lots of different things – photography, art, music, craft, yoga and philosophy to name a few – and draw our inspiration from many different sources. Our goal for this blog is to give you some insight into what makes us tick, to share some of our favourite images with you, to tell our story and to explain the inspiration behind out photographic style. We’d also like to share some DIY ideas and inspire you to take on little craft projects – to add a personal touch to your wedding or create a present for your child with your own hands. And, if at all possible, along the way we’d like to have some fun. We welcome any comments or ideas you’d like to contribute and will do our utmost to respond to everyone who makes the effort to get involved.
So if any or all of that sounds interesting, please read on…
